Hello Everyone! My name is Magdalena but everyone just calls me „Madzia.”

I am 23 years old and was born and raised in sunny South Africa. I recently moved to Wrocław to pursue my Master’s studies in Journalism and Social Communication. When asked why I chose to study in Wrocław, I think it’s safe to say that Wrocław chose me, as this city holds generations of sentimental family value. Besides, what other city in the world has over a hundred tiny gnomes waiting to be discovered?

I am fluent in English and Polish, can speak Afrikaans and am attempting to learn French. Teaching English presents an opportunity to do two of the things I love the most – connection and communication. I am also particularly passionate about film and literature and am looking forward to travelling across Poland, and experiencing the beauty of Europe throughout my time here
